Chateau La Reverance

Owned and managed by the Petit family, Château La Révérence consists of 3 prime hectares in the St Emilion appellation and is planted with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc.

A sandy cover on top of a deep dense clay subsoil. The vines are between 20 and 40 years old with 70% being 40 years old. Each individual parcel is vinified separatley in 400 litre barrels and in small thermo-regulated stainless steel vats. A plunging technique is used. The wine is aged for 12 months, 40% in new barrels.

Representing excellent quality and value in this prestigious Appellation, we have a real soft spot for Emeric Petit's Bordeaux wines that also age well and therefore offer the wine enthusiast an opportunity to purchase some Bordeaux for laying down at relatively low price. If you'd like more information or advice on laying these wines down then please call Jason Cozzi on 01223-265589.

I love the density and tannin texture to this wine. Very perfumed and enticing. Full yet reserved. An absolute beauty! Sadly limited.
