Located 20 km to the south-east of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Garonne River, Chateau Langoiran sits just beside Langoiran’s 12th-century Medieval Castle. The 22 hectares of vines are on a steep hill with south-west orientation. Nicolas and Florence Filou’s winery overlooks the Garonne Valley, offering a superb view from the medieval terrace. The ageing cellar where barrels are kept just beneath the Medieval Castle used to be a limestone quarry and consequently the ageing conditions are fantastic: same temperature and humidity all year round. The Château’s goal is to provide customers with a range of good value for money wines reflecting the unique terroir.
