The Tre Monti estate, nestled very close to the Imola race track in the Romagna are, is now run by Sergio Navacchia’s two sons, David and Vittorio. These two men are doing great things, and this wine is a perfect example of just that. Made from 100% hand-harvested Sangiovese grapes selected from the steepest slopes around Forli, this wine is action-packed with a rich burst of fruit – first black cherry and then damson with a hint of red cherry. Well- structured, compact yet very powerful, this wine would match well with braised lamb shanks.
